The Pescaderia T-Shirt takes the visual language of a traditional Spanish fish shop and turns it into a bold graphic tee. The Spanish word pescadería simply means fish shop or fishmonger. BINKY uses that familiar everyday word as the centre of an independent vintage-inspired design rather than presenting the graphic as the identity of a real historic business.

A SPANISH SHOP-SIGN AESTHETIC.

Old food shops, market counters and hand-painted commercial signs have their own straightforward visual language: clear lettering, simple illustrations and graphics designed to tell you immediately what is being sold.

The Pescaderia design borrows from that idea. The fish takes centre stage, the typography stays direct and the result feels closer to a forgotten neighbourhood shop graphic than to a polished tourist souvenir.

ALHAURÍN EL GRANDE. INLAND ANDALUSIA.

The place name connects the design to Alhaurín el Grande, a town in Málaga province in inland Andalusia. Rather than inventing a coastal fishing story around the town, the graphic uses the location simply as part of its fictional shop identity.

That keeps the design grounded in a real Spanish place while leaving the pescadería itself in the world of BINKY: a made-up local business graphic with the visual character of another era.

The main illustration gives the shirt its personality. Combined with the Spanish wording and straightforward composition, it creates a graphic that feels familiar without relying on flags, landmarks or conventional holiday imagery.
